LOOK is a hand crafted publication completed in 2013. It was a self exploration assignment on how one sees the world. As a designer, my world is made of basic elements like lines and shapes. They converge to form images and patterns that are subjectively named to create connotations in the human mind. My world is made of fragments of the imagination and the simplest of logic. Thus, this short illustrated patterns book was created for a reader to feel lost in translation - not in words, rather in nonsensical horizontal and diagonal lines that may or may not mean something to him.
amanda adventures is an ongoing iphonography project that involves travelling and wanderlust. because of amanda's ever present need to explore the world, a hashtag #amandadventures was created to fuel her enthusiasm for exploring.

project shirakawago is a humanitarian initiative that aims to bring awareness of a hidden UNESCO site in Japan. in 2011, the gifu prefecture was hit by a earthquake, therefore, devastating its tourism sector. deliverables for this project included a tourist booth design, 2 publications of shirakawago and other wooden collaterals. refer to "wood" project on main page for photos on collaterals.
The Bitesize font for Cacao7, a chocolate company, is part of a display typeface family, customarily designed for a local chocolate company called Cacao7, which speciality is dark chocolate. It is not a traditional modular typeface. The purpose of this vintage font marries the idea of nostalgia, classic and light-heartedness using two different variations of weights: Filled and Stroked. It is identifiable by the sharp angles of each letter form, which is created by joining four distinct shapes that are representational of the store’s chocolate shapes. Each letter is modelled after the letter “O” as it most resembles the shape of Cacao7’s chocolate.

mousa is a publication inspired by experimental jetset's typography style. this magazine is about music. it draws relations to the quickening of pace and rhythmic typographic designs through colour and visual hierarchy.
lb branding ad
branding ad for love, bonito's 2017 social media (facebook & instagram). the concept of the ad is to showcase the different aspects and usps of love, bonito as a brand. these include "quality material", "asian fit", "313@somerset pop up store" and "affordable prices". the art direction is in line with the brand's minimalist image.
